Television blew my mind tonight. Well, not television, per se, but DVR.
I was flipping through channels in search of something to watch. It was 11:21 PM when I came to the Daily Show. Normally, that would mean I only had about 8-9 minutes of Jon before being treated to the wonder that is Stephen. But my tv did something it never did before. It gave me the option to start the show at the beginning even though I didn't set the box to record the show!
Technology sure is wonderful.
But don't think it doesn't have a dark side. It does. A terrifying side. Even the wonderful surprise I spoke about earlier doesn't escape it! Although you can start the show at the beginning, you can't fast forward through the commercials.
They take away the option to skip them!
Tread carefully, friends. It's getting scary out there.

your tv did that on thanksgiving. i explained to you everything you just said about commercials.
this entry had been sitting unpublished since then. honk.
another thing it wont let you do, besides forward through commercials, is actually record whatever show youre watching. boooo
